Last summer I participated in the Information Technology Program (ITP), which is a summer program in the Helsinki School of Economics (HSE). As a part of the Content & Media - track I was on, we did a very large web project for Suunto.
Our team consisted of five HSE students, which might be hard to believe when you see the end result. Our task was to unify Suunto’s three product choosers into one, design it and code it from scratch. Luckily we had an amazing team to work with, as the project could have been too much to handle for five regular business students.
I think the end results represents the potential we could find in the new Aalto university. Intensive collaboration with different areas from business to design and technology. When you’re going to check the application we designed, I’d like to remind that it was done fully by five business students in just three months. Also everything in it is dynamic, so that it’s just ridiculously easy to update and extend.
In my opinion it’s just simply awesome, though there are always some minor details you wish you could have had more time to work on.
